Academic Standards
Co-Chairs: Carrie Arnold, Suha Daou
The GSAEC Academic Standards Committee aims to establish, research, publish, and promote an internationally accepted body of knowledge for the profession taught in graduate-level coaching education. The committee evaluates, supports, and stewards the Coaching Program Recognition process for Institutions seeking peer review. The committee also provides oversight of the Graduate School Educated Coach (GSEC) badge for graduates of coach education programs that have been recognized by GSAEC as meeting our Academic Standards.
Chair: Charline Russo
GSAEC's Conference Committee aims to plan, coordinate, and develop professional development programs for its members who are coach educators, practitioners, and students. The bi-annual international conference is one of the many events held by GSAEC that are explicitly designed to meet the professional development needs of members and to provide a space for the advancement of education in coaching through an exchange of ideas, mutual support, and deeper engagement of the coach education community.
Co-Chairs: Deirdre Miller, Kelly Rebmann
GSAEC's Marketing, Communications, & Membership committee aims to determine the strategic imperatives and tactics that will support achieving the organization's mission and vision. The committee designs and delivers compelling messages to key constituents to generate energy for and loyalty to the organization’s mission, ideals, and efforts. It also oversees individual and institutional membership, recruitment, retention, and a welcoming onboarding of all new members.
MEMBERSHIPGSAEC membership is open to academic institutions, individuals and students who constitute a community united in the establishment and promotion of a common knowledge base for executive and organization coaching. This includes institutions and individuals who are conducting and disseminating research to expand this knowledge base and defining curricula standards for graduate-level education in coaching. |
